Harrell Cook is the President and sole owner of Cooks Moving Service in Hampton, VA. He was born in Florida and grew up in the moving industry. Cook’s Moving Service has been opened for 19 years. It has grown into the largest moving company in the Hampton Roads area, with long distance trucks moving throughout the 48 states.
Harrell has an enormous love for children. He has 7 children of his own—they range in age from 5 years-old to full-grown. His love of children has grown to include children all over the world. He supports orphanages and ministries for children overseas and locally. His love of good barbeque has resulted with a way to fuel his cause. For the past seven years, Big Daddy’s Barbeque has supported charities, churches, ministries and orphanages.
Harrell researched all kinds of barbeque-making methods from Florida through Georgia, North Carolina and into Virginia to create his rolling trailer that holds several ovens designed to cook mouth-watering barbeque. This barbecue is cooked in a custom oven with special hardwood chips for smoking, and then it is flavored and seasoned with Harrell’s own special spices and sauces.
Big Daddy’s Barbeque is strictly non-profit. He does his own cooking and serving. He serves all the fixing’s—which include coleslaw and the best baked beans you have ever tasted!
